I came across this document as I was searching about yoke fit and thought I’d share it with you guys.
It appears that its an online pdf of a vintage dressmaking book, that was posted online from the University of Wisconsin-Madison library.
I was trying to backtrack the link to find the whole publication, but was unable to do so. But either way take a gander at the link, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Great link and tip – I thought I knew quite a bit about fitting but learned how to fit a circle skirt with this resource – that is fantastic!! Thanks!!
I believe this link will take you to the record for the entire digitized version of the publication (The new dressmaker: with complete and fully illustrated instruction on every point connected with sewing, dressmaking and tailoring …, 1921, from the Butterick Publishing Co.): http://hearth.library.cornell.edu/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=hearth;idno=4219047
It’s not as easy to navigate as a PDF, but it should all be there as the publication is no longer covered by copyright. Enjoy!
Thank you SOO much for sharing this link. I’ll have to delve into it over the weekend. :)
