Thank you so much to everyone who responded to the September Giveaway.
I truly enjoyed reading all of your comments about all of the different types of things you’d like to learn more about. Initially I posed that particular question since I love learning about you all and because I was just curious. But after reading through them all, you’ve really inspired me to want to answer all of your questions! :) You’ve certainly given me lots to think about.
The winner that had the random number of 24 and left me this comment:
Do you know what I would like to learn more about…gardening! I would love to be able to grow my own veg, but so far my attempts have been pretty poor! And I’m always interested in learning anything about sewing.
Which means Suzie of Su Sews So-So has won the giveaway! Gardening, hmmm… I’m not sure if I’d be able to provide much help in that area. I believe this is the first year I haven’t killed my own plants. heh
Suzie’s blog is in my rss reader and I saw she’s participating in Colette’s Fall Palette Challenge and has selected some gorgeous fabrics with a purple, bamboo, honeysuckle, and quarry theme; a lovely color combination. I also spotted that she has some wonderfully cute sewing helpers.
Suzie: Are they as good at cutting as they are at being pattern weights? :)
Congrats Suzie! I’ll be emailing you shortly to get your shipping info and do let me know which set of items you’d like me to send you.
I love hosting giveaways on here, but the hardest part (for me) is only having one winner. :| I always wish I could send you all little treats and goodies. But to soften the blow to those of you who did not win, I’m planning on hosting giveaways a bit more regularly on here so you’ll have plenty of more chances to win vintage pretties.
Thanks again for all who commented! I’m looking forward to trying to answer some of your questions, if I’m able.
