Threads Giveaway Winner

First of all, thank you guys so much for entering my bloggiversary giveaway.  It was really amazing to see how many of you have been following me for so long.  It was also funny to read that the vast majority didn’t know how you happened upon my blog, zilredloh.  heh  I can’t say it’s terribly surprising since I’m really not certain how I came across blogs I’ve been reading for a while too.

I continue to be amazed at how lovely & sweet you all are.  Two years ago, when I started blogging, I wasn’t sure what to expect; I was just happy to have anyone reading and following me.  Now over 100 of you have left me comments for my bloggiversary giveaway and I continue to feel lucky and happy that you’ve stuck along reading my highs, lows, and everything in between.

Using a handy random number generator, the winner was #101.  Well…. A funny thing happened when I picked this number.  There were two ladies with the same date and time stamp (since one gal had posted to the reminder post instead).  Not knowing how to choose one over the other, I decided the only fair thing to do was to pick both of them.  Hope you guys don’t mind the slight change in rules after the fact.  But it was the only fair thing I could think of….

I found your blog because I was googling for vintage sweater patterns. I think it was sometime around last winter. I stop by pretty much every day and you’ve inspired me to pick up sewing again and learn more techniques! (I’m taking a class next week at the local fabric store.) So, thanks!!

And the second winner, Rebecca said:

I think I found it through a link on A Fashionable Stitch, it was one of the first sewing blogs I read. I love your blog. Love the retro style and all your tips.

Let’s hear a *Yay* for Shannon and Rebecca.

Thanks so much everyone for showing all of your love and support for my 2-year bloggiversary with this giveaway.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
