December Giveaway Day

Back in May I pre-ordered my copy of A Stitch in Time, Volume 2.  And in a moment of delight, I decided to order a second book in order for a mega-giveaway for the holiday season, as a little Christmas gift from me to you.  :)

As it turns out December 12th is SewMamaSew’s semi-annual giveaway day, so I thought what better than to invite everyone to join in and celebrate the gift-giving season.

While I haven’t been blogging for a full year yet (1 year in January), I feel amazed at how kind and supportive you all have been over the past year.  Many of you have left so many nice, thoughtful comments and I’m happy to have been able to meet you through the blogosphere.

So as a little Christmas thank you, I’m giving away this amazing knitting book that I just received in the mail:

I do realize most of you are sewers, but many of you have posted about wanting to learn how to knit or even about taking the plunge into vintage knits.  Either way, if you dream of knitting some day or are a seasoned pro, you all are welcome to enter to win this book.

I don’t think I need to say this, but for the record: To be fair to everyone, please refrain from trying to win this book if you’re planning on re-gifting it.

To enter for your chance to win this book:

  • All you have to do is leave me a comment about the one thing you’re looking forward to this holiday season.

Myself: I’m currently looking forward to giving my husband his Christmas gifts as well as having a week off of work which I will most likely be spending revamping my sewing room/dining room with a new coat of paint and decoration.

The winner will be chosen at random on December 16th and I will announce the winner shortly thereafter.  This giveaway is open to anyone no matter where you live.  I’m happy to ship anywhere for you guys.

Good luck everyone!  And I hope you’re having a lovely holiday season so far.

Oh, and be sure to swing by Sew Mama Sew’s site; there are tons of giveaways taking place all over so be sure to check them out.
