Winning Combination for the Stash Busting Challenge

Hey Guys, I just wanted to make a quick post today as I’m getting ready to run out the door to work.

I don’t think it comes as much of a surprise to you, but the taupish polka dot fabric was the clear winner which will be made in my Quaker Oats Pattern (by McCalls):

This was a huge surprise to me actually!  I thought you guys would have picked the white organza but that combination was in the last place.  heh  I’m glad you guys love this pattern as much as I do.

I was going to cut out my muslin last night after tracing the patterns, but I got started late and was only able to trace off two of the pattern pieces:

This is the front bodice and the side front.  Aren’t they funky shapes?  Check out that sleeve which has the hem already built-in and marked.

I had NO IDEA how many pattern pieces are involved!!!

This is after I forgot I had two more pattern pieces sitting on my ironing board.

I think I’m going to be lucky if I’m able to cut out my muslin tonight after tracing all of the pieces out.  I think I’ll only be able to do the bodice tonight, and perhaps the skirt tomorrow night.  But wish me luck!  :)
